b) Operation Overlord

Operation Overlord was the code name for the Allied invasion of Normandy in WWII, one of the largest amphibious military assaults in history. Launched on June 6, 1944, commonly known as D-Day, this operation marked the beginning of the end for Nazi Germany. The invasion involved extensive planning and coordination among Allied forces and included the establishment of a massive deception plan to mislead the Germans about the invasion location.
