c) The White Army
During the Russian Civil War, the United States, along with other Allied nations, supported the White Army against the Bolshevik Red Army. The U.S. involvement was part of an international effort to oppose the Bolshevik revolution and support forces loyal to the Tsar. This intervention was a reflection of the Allies’ desire to stop the spread of communism and to reopen the Eastern Front against Germany in World War I.
